AuditionHell
2 The
companion class to complete your knowledge. Learn how to 'get it', by studying story and script analysis. Mock auditions and practice. How to learn lines. How to be present on camera. How to refine your sell. How to conquer your nerves. How to take over the audition room. How to get hired in the first audition every time. Since taking the class I have landed 4 actor roles and 1 principal role!!! As well I have been told by directors and casting directors that I just keep getting better! Thanks again for your wise words and honest critique. N.O. Sign up for your trip to Hell 2. Secret #25 - there are diffent types of auditions... ...for different types of shows. You can't do your Cold Squad audition for that sitcom. If you get called in for Stargate, you'd better know Jaffa. If
you don't know how to do commercial auditions, forget it. You have to know it. And show it. Or blow it. What we do: Piles of new exercises designed to educate you or just fool you into being as good as you really are. For example: The ten minute screenwriting class. Silent movie. David Letterman. It's all about me. What's the meaning of this? And many others. To find out what these are, you'll just have to take the class. Study and practice, practice, practice all the various forms of the audition and the various acting styles. We do many mock audition sessions to make it all the more true to life, and to challenge your ability to perform under stress. Piles of camera time. On
Sunday, do your best scene work in your best style. Everything is shot on state-of-the-art equipment, and projected on a 12-foot screen. Everyone gets a free DVD of all the class work over the weekend. What you need to prepare: A monologue in your best style for presentation on Sunday. Go to www.whysanity.net or www.script-o-rama.com or do a Google search if you want a head start. Bring: headshots
and resumes if you have them (but don't go out and get them done if
you don't) notepad, water, and wear comfy clothes in your good colors.
